descriptions of archival collections. Conduct searches using basic
and advanced search screens. Search by keywords and phrases, or by
browsing lists of names, titles and participating
archives.
Each record in the Archeion database relates to a holding within the participating archive. All records are stored following a standard format. Select your criteria using the drop-down menus and your search word(s). Try broad searches first, then narrow your results with additional criteria.
The descriptions may relate not only to formal documents, but also family letters and other family records, maps, photographs, audiotapes, recordings, diaries, newspaper articles, organizational history, archive record identification information, related archive materials, books and other media. Descriptions and the administrative summary of all fonds are available to the public. There is no fee for use of this service.
